According to the relevant test standards, the static strength test of car seat and headrest is carried out. During the test, a certain force is applied to the back of the seat first, and then a certain force is applied to the headrest to check its deformation;



Ii. Main test items and test methods:


1. Test preparation:


Install the seat on the test bench of the simulated body according to the design requirements, adjust the Angle of the backrest according to the standard requirements, and adjust the headrest to the highest or most unfavorable position according to the standard requirements.



2. Strength test of car seat system: Install the seat on the test bench of the simulated body according to the design requirements. If there is no appropriate stress point on the seat, it is allowed to strengthen the part not involved in the test project. The upper end of the strengthening rod is fixed on the same horizontal beam, and the other end is fixed on the seat adjusting mechanism connector as far forward as possible. A force equal to 20 times the gravity of the seat assembly is applied horizontally forward and backward, respectively. The assembly must not be separated from the body. For the adjustable seat, the adjustment device should be able to keep the seat in the original adjustment position in the test, and only forward loading if there is a structural part on the back of the seat to prevent the seat from backing up; For the adjustable seat, the seat should be adjusted to the rear position, and the backrest should be locked at the design Angle or an equivalent design Angle position; During the folding seat test, the limiting device should be fixed in advance, and a force equivalent to 20 times the gravity of the hinged or folded part of the seat should be applied horizontally to the forward-facing seat through the center of mass of the hinged or folded part of the seat; For a rear-facing seat, a force equivalent to 8 times the gravity of the hinged or folded part of the seat is applied horizontally backwards through the center of mass of the hinged or folded part of the seat. Gradually load to the specified value as required, and maintain more than 0.2s on the value, and the loading speed does not exceed 5mm/min; When the test ends or the mechanism fails when relative deformation occurs, the computer automatically stops the test and automatically records the relevant parameters at this time.



3. Strength test of car seat belt installation: the seat is installed on the test bench of the simulated body according to the design requirements


(1) The seat should be fully equipped and adjusted to the design reference position; Apply the load to the upper and lower body modules in the direction of 10±5° parallel to the longitudinal center plane of the vehicle and the horizontal line during loading, and reach the specified load value within 60s and continue for at least 0.2s; For the test of the installation of the Class I safety belt, the fixed safety belt is placed on the lower body module, and the load of 22300±220N is applied to the lower body module according to the test requirements, but the load of 2940±200N is applied to the rear seat of M2, M3 and N cars; For the test of Class II seat belt installation, the fixed seat belt will be installed on the lower body module and the upper body module, and the load of 13500±200N is applied to the two body modules at the same time according to the test requirements, but the load of 2940±200N is applied to the upper and lower two modules of the rear seat of M2, M3 and N class cars; (2) At the same time, through the seat centroid, a load of 20 times the weight of the seat is applied horizontally along the longitudinal direction, but a P load is applied to the rear seat of M2, M3 and N cars, and the duration is at least 0.5s; P load press to determine: P= (735N+ seat weight of 1 seat) *4;


When the test ends or the mechanism fails when relative deformation occurs, the computer automatically stops the test and automatically records the relevant parameters at this time.




4. Strength test of the seat back and its adjusting device:


A load of 530 Nm torque relative to point R of the seat is applied to the back of the seat along the longitudinal direction through a model that simulates the false back as specified in the standard. For strip seats where the skeleton is partially or wholly shared by more than one seat (including the headrest), tests should be carried out on these seats simultaneously.


5. Static strength test of car seat headrest: all drawing lines should be drawn on the longitudinal symmetrical vertical plane of the seat during the test;


1) When the backrest model is used to preload the seat so that the backward torque around point R is 373N•m, the position of the reference line r1 of the shifted torso is determined at this time;


2) The headrest loading device can be adjusted up and down to adapt to different heights of the headrest. A head model with a diameter of 165mm was used to load the headrest in a direction perpendicular to the reference line r1 of the displaced torso. The loading point was 65mm downward from the top of the headrest, and 373N•m torque was applied to the seat R point.


3) Parallel to the reference line r1 of the displaced trunk, and cross the tangent point of the head model and the headrest to make the tangent line Y, measure the distance X between the tangent line Y and the reference line r1 of the displaced trunk, and its maximum allowable backward movement should be less than 102mm;


4) According to the test requirements, the loading force of the headrest can be increased to 890N on the basis of the pre-loading of the headrest part to 373N•m, and the displacement amount at this time is recorded and the strength of the seat skeleton is observed to check the performance of the headrest;


5) When the test ends or the relative deformation of the mechanism is large and can be considered to be a failure, the computer automatically stops the test and retains all the test results, and generates the corresponding report as required.
